Knitspiration Hat Kit

A little info about the pattern - Knitspiration designed by French Press Knits. It all began as a way for my kids to offer a truly unique Christmas gift to their teachers. Each year, for the past few years, I have drawn out a picture of a plain knit hat, having my kids color it in with a design from their heart (along with a little guidance from mom). I then interpret their “designs” into a hat for these important people who pour so much into their lives daily. A true exercise in creativity!!

Pattern includes specific instructions for designing your hat pattern.

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rnds per 4” / 10 cm in chosen stitch pattern in the round on larger needles

Finished Measurements: 19” (48 cm) unstretched, finished circumference; 12.5” (32 cm) finished height, with brim folded

Materials Used:  Approximately 300 yards of worsted weight yarn, Lark Worsted by Quince and Co, in 3  colorways.

Needle Size: 

• 4 Size US 7 / 4.5 mm DPNs
• US 7 / 4.5 mm circular needle, 16” length (40 cm)
• US 5 / 3.75 mm circular needle, 16” length (40 cm)
