The Anguli Cowl by The Yarniad. Anguli is a cowl designed to mimic the look of an asymmetrical triangular shawl wrapped around the neck, but with no pesky ends to come untied. Knit flat in garter stitch with a simple stripe sequence, a series of increases and decreases forms the shape of this cowl, and one little seam up the back joins it together. This is a fun and quick project that uses a small amount of fingering weight yarn – perfect for gift knitting, perfect for travel knitting, and creates a great, striking accessory.
Gauge: 21 sts & 42 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Garter Stitch after blocking
Finished Measurements: 22”/ 56 cm circumference at top opening; 20”/ 51 cm height at center
