The Weekender Light by Andrea Mowry is a lighter version of her famous Weekender sweater. This sweater is worked from the bottom up, seamlessly. Starting with a split hem then joined to be worked in the round and knit seamlessly to the underarm area. The front and back are divided and worked separately, then joined at the shoulders with a 3 needle bind off. Stitches are then picked up and knit to desired length. The body is a "reverse stockinette stitch", while the sleeves are completed in "stockinette stitch". Andrea has video tutorials available for the techniques used.
